No match for McCain

Ok I know a lot of us conservatives have some issues with John McCain. Those issues are generally summed up with two points

1. The Campaign Finance Reform act- because it puts a limit on free speech
2. The "Amnesty Bill"- because it would have let illegals become citizens for $5k.

We needs to get off our high horses and see the big picture.

1. Obama and Hillary are going to raise taxes while McCain is for keeping them low
2. Obillary are for retreat and surrender in the War on Terror while McCain will most likely crush the enemy.
3. Obillary will Socialize our great nation and create misery while McCain is pro Capitalism.
4. The dems will keep spending taxpayers money on pork projects while McCain will veto pork.

The list goes on and on. 2nd ammendment rights, McCain wins and the growth of the Federal Government will not be as big with McCain vs the others.

Ricin, Guns, Anachist Cookbook...

So we have a man in Las Vegas who is unconscious because he inhaled Ricin, a very deadly biological agent. In the room where he was found there was the Ricin, several firearms, and of course an Anarchist's Cookbook (or "textbook" as the news is saying). Yet authorities are still saying that there is no reason to believe that this man was in anyway connected to terrorism.

Has anybody heard of Tim McVeigh? No? Gee, you know HE wasn't a Muslim man either yet he managed to blow up the Federal Building in Oklahoma City and kill about 300 people including children. I'm guessing that was not a terrorist act either.

What is the problem with our government? Why can we not call things what they are? A terrorist is a terrorist. A person who has entered our country illegally is an illegal alien. A racist is a racist. A criminal is a criminal. Why are we so caught up with calling something other than it really is?

I say that this guy who is in the hospital needs to be arrested and sent to GITMO ASAP. What the hell is he going to do with Ricin besides put it in the air to intentionally kill many many people with it?

You should hear the authorities give this man a break calling it "more related to a criminal act than a terrorist one." BS!!! If the man were Muslim this would be a terrorist act. Whites can be terrorists too. Lets just put this guy away right now. Well...as soon as he wakes up and only after wasting thousands of dollars in taxpayer money during his hospital stay.

More McCain Problems

You know when this Cunningham guy told a bunch of supporters that Obama was a "Chicago hack" I think he was trying to rile up the crowd. He was also telling the truth. What is so wrong with that? Why is it that liberals are the only ones who have freedom of speech in this country? And why did John McCain attack Cunningham for telling the truth about Obama?

What is worse? Calling someone a hack or having that hack as the President and passing his socialist agenda to the point where we become this sissified, tofu-eating, unoffended, leftist nation?

Of course that would be the people of our nation. The government would of course be this heavy handed, tax-crazy, oppressive authoritarian-style regime in which we as Americans would have no choice. No choice in what we say, what we eat, what we put into our bodies, what hear on the radio, what we see on T.V. or anything else.

Everything that could possibly be seen as "bad" would be banned. Soda (or pop if you cal lit that), red meat, gasoline... ah the list goes on and on. Obama's slogan should be that we're heading into a Brave New World. If you haven't read that book.... well I suggest you read it. I doubt the government schools in this country every REALLY educated you enough to let you read it.

So anyway John McCain had to apologize for the disparaging remarks made against his colleague. BS!! I would never call a socialist my colleague. More like my enemy.

Obama has this game figured out even though he is a newcomer in Washington. He does all the dirty tricks he can and there is nothing you can do to him because he takes "the high road."

If he's a hack then say it. If he's a liberal then say it. If he is a socialist then say it.

When Americans have no voice and no choice then we will understand the folly of electing Obama. But then of course it will be too late.

I pains me to vote for McCain because he apparently doesn't get it that just because Obama pretends to play nice it doesn't mean that he's not doing every dirty trick in the shadows. McCain will surely be stunned when the media turn on him like rabid dogs. Hell, they have already started to do so!

Like I said before. It is not too late for McCain to move back to the right. If he does so convincingly and STAYS that way then he has a good chance at winning.

But I caution you to get out and vote for your congressmen and senators as well even if you don't plan on voting McCain. We need conservatives in Washington and we need them bad.

Health care in Colorado

OK here is a perfect example of how the government is killing the citizens of this country with respect to health care costs. The Colorado Legislature passed a bill that basically makes it easier and actually encourages trial lawyers to bring up high-priced lawsuits against doctors and health care providers. So, instead of our benevolent government helping the citizens, its actually hurting them...again. There's a shocker!
So I guess in a year or two our governor will start campaigning that we need to "bring down the cost of health care" with more government intervention and possibly a mandate that health care providers bring down their costs "or else." Or else what? Who knows? You know I have often said that I'm not cynical enough to believe that the government especially liberals just want to control us and will do anything they have to to do it. But I am beginning to believe that is exactly true now.
The way I see it is this:
Government will do everything in its power to make health care cost rise. Then they will come in to "save the day" with some grandiose state run health care system to "ease the costs of health care."
It makes me sick. It makes me sick because people will actually believe that the reason that cost are rising is because they are being gouged by the insurance companies. The reality is that we the taxpayers are being gouged by the government.

John McCain's problem

You know it's just amazing how people can just ignore simple facts. John McCain believes that he cannot win unless he can convince the American People that the Iraq War Policy is working. That's just do stupid.

1. First of all it's rather obvious that the Iraq policy IS working. If it wasn't it would be all over the news.

2. Then of course there's this whole philosophy of trying to convince the American people of this or that. Look if you want to win the presidential election then you need to take your cues from Ronald Reagan.

Conservative principles win elections. Think Reagan. Think the 1994 mid terms. Contract with America. These are ideas that win. There is no reason to be anything OTHER THAN CONSERVATIVE if you want to win elections. Conservatives don't have to "reach across the aisle" to get things done. Liberals will begin coming to us because WE are the ones with all the ideas and momentum.

Remember to send John McCain a conservative message that if he wants OUR support and if he wants to win the election he needs to be conservative and stay conservative.

We as Americans need to also elect conservatives in the House and Senate to keep our next president in line.

Dimantleing Obama's lies

"Wages are Stagnant as Prices Rise: While wages remain flat, the costs of basic necessities are increasing. The cost of in-state college tuition has grown 35 percent over the past five years. Health care costs have risen four times faster than wages over the past six years. And the personal savings rate is now the lowest it's been since the Great Depression."

Barack Obama

According to the US Department of Labor average hourly wages have increased by over $4.00 per hour over the last ten years that includes that last 8 years that Bush has been in office. http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet?request_action=wh&graph_name=CE_cesbref3

So we've already dispelled the lie that wages are stagnate shall we go for the next one?
The cost of basic necessities are increasing but that is normal in an economy in which wages are increasing.

On tuition inflation we see that over the past 5 years it has increased 35% that is actually normal. You see according to FinAid.org tuition increases at this rate normally which is about twice that of regular inflation.

"Tuition Inflation
A good rule of thumb is that tuition rates will increase at about twice the general inflation rate. During any 17-year period from 1958 to 2001, the average annual tuition inflation rate was between 6% and 9%, ranging from 1.2 times general inflation to 2.1 times general inflation. On average, tuition tends to increase about 8% per year. An 8% college inflation rate means that the cost of college doubles every nine years. For a baby born today, this means that college costs will be more than three times current rates when the child matriculates in college. This section of FinAid provides detailed information about the rate of increase of college tuition."
http://www.finaid.org/savings/tuition-inflation.phtml

So if we average 8% per year then 35% over five years is actually only about 7% a year in inflation. Not bad huh? The actual cost in tuition has doubled in the last 20 years. If you really want to know why then here is your answer in short.

1. Schools are spending wads of money trying to keep up with each other
2. 50-75% of tuition goes straight to faculty. As teachers get older their paychecks get bigger
3.Pressure on Universities to be LESS productive
4. Government subsidizes the problem with Financial Aid making demand for college grow
5. Our kids are just smart, motivated and qualified to get into college. Increased demand again...

"And the personal savings rate is now the lowest it's been since the Great Depression."

Just read this article and you'll see that this is not a problem that the almighty government has to fix for us. We, as Americans, have the right and responsibility to spend our money as we see fit. Obama does not need to tell us how to spend our money.

More lies and stuff to be exposed

Opening statements

The political scene is starting to clear up. We have on one side the most liberal senator in the US Senate vs the renegade war hero. For conservatives the outlook does not look so great. Our nominee for president is a man who spent the last 8 years giving us the proverbial finger. At least that is the consensus. Many say that we have to choose between a Liberal and someone who isn't conservative.

The reality of the situation is this: John McCain is conservative despite his past. And when he stands on stage next to Barack Hussein Obama he is going to look like a g.d. founding father. Obama is a socialist with a silver tongue and a steel knife that is just moments away from your back. He is shaking your right hand while his left is grabbing your wallet.

I can't believe that people are actually saying that there is no difference between McCain or Obama getting elected.

I think the people that say this kind of stuff are just frustrated that we didn't get Ronald Reagan. That's cool I understand. He was my favorite President too. The issue I have is that now we have a candidate that was not a poster boy for us for the last eight years. Fine. I get it. But lets look at this from a new perspective. John McCain was loved by the media and he loved them. Then all of the sudden the other day he gets nailed with this lie on the front page of the NY Times. It had no sources. No evidence just lies and innuendo. I think it's a wake up call for McCain.

McCain is also still hurting from the way the Immigration Bill was defeated. Again a wake-up Call.

And now it looks like his own bill, the Campaign Finance Reform, is biting him in the butt.

Wake-up time John. Come back to the light. Step away from the Dark Side...

I actually believe that when you compare Obama and McCain the differences are so vast and striking that one HAS to see them.

One thing is for sure, John McCain is no more liberal than George W. Bush. With that in mind we have to ask ourselves is all this worth it? Is it worth throwing this election away in spite and then hope that we can garner up a Ronald Reagan in four years? I say it is not.

The best way for us to preserve what is left of our nation and to build toward restoring the principles of individual liberty and responsibility is to put conservatives in Washington and to keep putting them there. We need to find these conservatives and put them in office.
